Parnevu Hair Products Review

I have thick, curly and dry hair and I have tried many brands but I have only found a few that works and unfortunately they are expensive .

I got the chance to try Parnevu Hair products and I have to say I am impressed.

Here is what I received to review

After 2 weeks of trying these products (each on different days) and I have to say these products are good . My favourite one is the PARNEVU Leave In Conditioner for Extra Dry Hair. I love the smell of that one the most and it worked great for my hair . The leave in Conditioners  helped with to get rid of the tangles so brushing my hair wasn't such a pain and my hair felt softer  but all 3 products are fantastic.

Yesterday a  friend of mine commented on how much my hair looked great and even after my hair was all dry she mentioned that my hair smelled fantastic. I think I might just have start buying my hair products at Parnevu from now on.

I highly recommend this product.

Check them out

Life Is a Balance:It's not only about you by Philip Nork

The journey of self-discovery is a lifetime trip; and just like the fingerprints you possess, yours will be uniquely different than anyone else’s. There are things that are common in each—such as good and bad times, emotional highs and lows, and choices that will need to be made.
These choices that are presented to you can greatly define how you live your life. They may be influenced by the people you meet, symbols that are strategically placed along your journey, and especially by your religious or spiritual choices. Being that no choice ever comes without consequence, there really is no right or wrong answer; the road taken will eventually get you to where you’re supposed to be. Although, some roads take longer than others in order for you to reach your ultimate goal.
The sweetest thing about the life we live is that we all get to lead it differently. What’s right for one may be totally wrong for another; and while perception truly is your own reality, don’t forget there is always something more than meets the eye. You will be well served if you learn to see the whole picture before passing judgment on others, if at all.

MY REVIEW

After reading the first book I couldn't wait to start reading Life Is a Balance. This second book is just as good as the first one. I stayed up late last night because I wanted to finish reading it. Life Is a Balance is a well written book that most of you might enjoy as much as I did.

You can purchase this book at amazon.com

I give this 5 out of 5

MY REVIEW

I had never heard of this game until recently but I decided to give it a try.  Anyways started playing one afternoon and I ended up playing this game for 3 hours which doesn't happen often to me.  I played this game on normal mode and thought this game is a little easy so I think if you are a big gamer you might want to try this game on a harder level. The voice overs are a little annoying but all in all the game is pretty good and the graphics are ok but pretty good for a game that is $9.99 USD.

If you want to purchase this PC game you can do so on Steam, Rain Digital Games, GamersGate and GameStop.

I give this game 3 1/2 out of 5

CSI Miami Heat Wave game review

Do you like to play social network games?  I admit  I can spend hours playing Facebook games and I have wasted hours playing them . Did you watch CSI Miami? I have seen a bunch of episodes but not all.

Anyways, I started playing this game for about 30 minutes and had the chance to level up a few times. The next day I went in to play it again but the game wouldn't work. I have tried a few times per day for a few days and still wouldn't work. I even tried in different browsers . I went in the game page to see what was going on and I noticed a few people were having the same problems. The developers posted ways to fix it and nothing worked for me. Not sure if it is a problem that occurs often but if it got me mad because I had to actually play and review the game and how can I review a game that didn't work for me. Fortunately it finally started working again this morning and I played it until my was out of energy in the game and I was able to play again in the afternoon.

This game is fun but it is a little too easy and the graphics aren't that great compared to other Facebook games I like to play so I don't think I will ever play this game ever again but if you like simple and easy games then you might like CSI Miami Heat Wave.

If you want to play this game here is the link.

Misguided Sensitivity by Philip Nork (eBook review)

In the 1960's and 1970's divorce wasn't as prevalent as it is nowadays. The separation and eventual divorce could hit the children involved extremely hard. They would try to lose themselves in drugs, alcohol or other things to help them cope. "Misguided Sensitivity" chronicles the journey of self-discovery of one boy as he searches for acceptance and happiness--the two desires everyone shares.

MY REVIEW

I wasn't sure I would like this book but I was quite surprised that I got into this book and couldn't stop reading it.I ended up going to bed later than planned because this book  got me hooked.  Misguided Sensitivity is very well written and I highly  recommend this book.

If you want to purchase this book you can do so at amazon.com

    MY REVIEW

I played the Beta test with a bunch of people online for a few days and it took me a bit of time figuring out the controls because it was keyboard control and I am used to playing games with my  wired controller but after a few hours of playing this game i got use to which keys do what.  If you like first-person multi-player games then you will absolutely love this one. It is so fun even if like me you are horrible at this genre of games and the graphics are pretty good too but i thought the sound quality could have been better.

Ravaged can be purchased for $24.99(USD) at  Steam, 2DawnGames, GameStop, Gamers Gate, Origin, Rain Digital Games  and GameFly.

    Tarnished Halo Demon Queen #1

Dark, chilling forces beyond Liwet and Oriax’s control drag them back together and down into a rabbit hole so deep, escape is futile. The prince of the underworld wants them in his court; a request never to be taken lightly. Can the couple overcome their pasts, and find each other once more, before it’s too late to save either of them?

    MY REVIEW

This novella is the first in the Demon Queen series and the very first ebook I have read by this author. This fantasy novella is fantastic and I have to admit I just kept on reading even though I was tired because I just couldn't put it down until the very end. It is only 42 pages so it is a very fast read and although it is short it is  very well  written and it made me want to read book #2. If you enjoy fantasy novellas and enjoy novels that has sexual content you might enjoy this book as much as I did.

I am going to be watching and reviewing this movie sometime near the date it comes out but i just had to post this and let you all know.

The Dark Knight Rises" is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy. It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act. But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.

If you are a old movies fan or if you know someone who is then you will want to get this one.  There are 10 movies in total in this set . Some of the movies are in black & white and some in colour but I was surprised that they were all very good quality for such old movies. The sound quality is pretty good as well.

I had never seen any of these movies before but I liked some of them. I think this would be a great Christmas gift for fans of Robert Mitchum or fans of old movies. I know my dad would love this and I think I am going to be giving him this.

Snorks: The Complete First Season dvd (review)

"I first discovered Captain Ortega's logbook in a monastery that overlooks the sea. On the morning of February 13, 1634, Captain Ortega anchored his ship behind a barrier reef. That night, they were attacked by pirates. The ship, set afire, sank into the lagoon. Ten days later, the captain was found, delirious, still clutching his logbook. He described a world of tiny, underwater creatures no bigger than his thumb. No one believed him, but you know, there's something about Captain Ortega's story…that makes me believe it's true!" It’s true, all right – just ask the Snorks! In their steam-powered city carved out of coral, these multi-colored denizens of the deep have whale-sized hearts and are up for any challenge – or party – the ocean might send their way. So come along with Allstar, Casey, Daffney, Dimmy, Junior and Tooter as they explore life within – and sometimes beyond – the limits!

    MY REVIEW

I remember this cartoon but I don't really remember ever watching it as a kid. Anyways I thought it was ok. I feel like this would have been something I would have liked watching when i was a kid but as a adult I feel it is cheesy but it is better than some cartoons these days. Not one of the best old cartoon i have seen but it isn't so bad and I think children today would still enjoy this even with the not so great cartoon graphics.

If you like these classic animations then I think you might want this one. Snorks: The Complete First Season is great for all ages.

Sound Of My Voice Blu-ray (review)

    Synopsis:

Brit Marling is “intoxicating” (The Huffington Post) and “stirring” (PEOPLE) in the year’s most talked-about psychological thriller. A filmmaker (Christopher Denham) and his girlfriend (Nicole Vicius) set out to expose the beautiful leader of a cult (Marling), who claims to be from the future. But the more they explore, the more danger they face in this ““an intricate and taut thriller” (Claudia Puig, USA Today) from writer-actress Marling and writer-director Zal Batmanglij.

    MY REVIEW

This is not the kind of movie I usually watch and review but I do once in a while what low budget cult movies once in a while and this movie did sound interesting.  I have to say I really don't like this movie at all. It  is about a cult that is  led by a  woman called Maggie who claim to be from 12054 which really sounds interesting, right? Well this movies was far from interesting. Seriously the description above and description on the Blu-ray makes the movie sound good but really I thought it was just dull and so predictable. I would not waste money on this. This the worst movie I have seen this year.

New Girl: The Complete First Season ( Review)

New Girl is a charming, offbeat comedy about friends, flings and modern relationships. After a bad breakup, free-spirited optimist Jess (Zooey Deschanel) moves in with three bachelors who have plenty of issues of their own. Winston (Lamorne Morris) is a former athlete, Nick (Jake Johnson) is a law school dropout, and Schmidt (Max Greenfield) is a wannabe womanizer in love with...himself. Together with her super-hot BFF Cece (Hannah Simone), this New Girl discovers that hanging out with the guys can be a challenging — and hilarious — adventure!

    MY REVIEW

This show is ok. Not the best but not the worst. The first episode wasn't all that great but after you watch a few more episodes the show does get better. I personally did not find this show that funny.Sure there were a few moments I did laugh and from all the other reviews I have read before I seem to be the only one who didn't find this show that funny.

If you watched season 1 on tv and liked it then I guess you will like having this on DVD but personally this show is just not for me.

    I give this 3 out of 5

Contagion of the Gods by Scott Rhine (ebook review)

Sex, violence, and Greek gods—an epic fantasy in the vein of Gene Wolfe or Tim Powers.

If Pythias reads the future in the sun one more time, he could go blind; instead, he uses detective skills to solve the problems of Golden Age Athens. Then two charming but ruthless princes engage in a titanic battle to become the next incarnation of Dionysus. The contagion of the gods is loose again. As a member of a secret society known as the Sons of Prometheus, Pythias must find a way to stop the demigods or the nations of the Mediterranean will be drawn into war. A witch and a horse-legged silenus guide them through the secrets behind the Greek legends in an odyssey that travels to the fabled island of the Gorgons and beyond

    MY REVIEW

I have read and reviewed a few other books by this author. So far from all his books I have read I have absolutely loved his books and that includes this one. I can very well imagine the characters and all that is going on in this book. Very well written.

I can't wait to read more of Scott Rhines' books.
