HomeRight SteamMachine Plus Review

The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation.

I have recently received a HomeRight SteamMachine Plus to review .

I have used this in our front entryway  floor because it does get very dirty .  I used the mop part on the floor and then used one of the brush parts around the parts mops will go to.  I used this to clean the bathtub and the tiled walls in the bathroom, I used it to clean the oven, the patio furniture, the  and vinyl floors , used it to steam the livingroom curtains.

I really like that it doesn't take long to heat up and it makes cleaning much quicker so now I get more time to do things I enjoy. It kills 99.9 percent of germ and bacteria including e-coli, salmonella, and staph and don't need some smelly products that give me headaches so I really like that.

The handle folds down for easy storage ,plus it has cord wrap on the handle so it doesn't take that much room .

The SteamMachine Plus has a detachable hand-held steamer so it is easy to carry around the house and up and down the stairs. It has  6 attachments are ideal for cleaning and disinfecting stove tops, ovens, grills, counter tops and bathrooms.

The suggested retail price is $124.99 but I really think it is worth it. I mean I know I spend more than in a year in cleaning supplies.

Included in Box:
  • Detachable Steamer
  • Steamer Frame
  • Mop Head
  • Carpet Glider
  • (2) Microfiber Mop Pads
  • Squeegee/Fabric Steamer
  • Cotton Bonnet for Squeegee/Fabric Steamer
  • Small Nylon Brush
  • Large Nylon Brush
  • Angled Jet Nozzle
  • Grout Brush
  • Scraper
  • Straight Adaptor
  • Measuring Cup

I highly recommend the HomeRight SteamMachine Plus.

Marzetti Simply Dressed Salad Dressings Review

The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation.

Recently I got to try Simply Dressed Balsamic dressing and Simply Dressed Caesar salad dressing .

Last weekend we went to Loblaws and went straight to the refrigerated salad dressing part of the produce section and I admit I couldn't decide which Simply Dressed dressing I wanted to try first so I got 2.

SIMPLY DRESSED BALSAMIC DRESSING

Like I said before I had never tried Balsamic dressing before but I had heard good things about this one so I was excited to try it and I am so glad I did.  I love the flavour of this one. I only used it on plain salad (nothing else in it other than lettuce ) and  I loved it. My husband also loved it and said we should get it again in the future.

SIMPLY DRESSED CAESAR SALAD DRESSING

For  lunches this week I have made Caesar Salad and instead of using my regular brand I used Marzetti Simply Dressed Caesar dressing and I must say I love this one way better than my usual brand. My husband isn't usually a fan of Caesar salad dressing but he really liked this one.  It tastes so good and it is a little thicker than other brands I have tried and I like that.

Marzetti Simply Dressed Salad dressings do not contain any preservatives, trans fat, high fructose corn syrup, added MSG or artificial flavours and most are gluten-free.  Other than the 2 I have tried there is Pomegranate salad dressing, , ranch salad dressing , Greek feta and blue cheese. They come in 354 ml bottles and suggested retail price of $3.99. You can find them in

If you are looking for a new brand to try, I highly recommend these.

I know it is a little late to mention this but May is National Salad Month .  I did eat more salad this month .  Did you eat salad this month?

SquareHue's May Substcribption box

The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation.

Every month SquareHue.com has a different theme with 3 colours of nail polish. This month every one who subscribed received The Passport Collection Rio.

Here are the colours on my nails. I am horrible at putting nail polish on my own nails so it they are a little messy.

This shade is called Leblon. You can't really see it but it has a shimmer to it.  I don't usually like green but I like this one.

This one is call Ipanema and it is a micro glitter nail polish. I never thought I would like a yellow nail polish  but I really like this one.

This one is called Copacabana and as you can see it is a glitter one. I don't like glitter nail polish at all and I don't like this one either. In this photo I had 2 coats on and really I needed to put more on but I didn't bother.

Subscribers receive a limited edition collection of 3 full size (.50oz ) polishes monthly and you will never get the same colour twice. Subscription is $14.99USD per month plus shipping and handling ($5 for US destinations and $9 for Canada). A portion of your monthly subscription is donated to different causes. So you get cute nail polish each month for a good price and you help good causes at the same time.

Do I think it is worth it? Yes I do.  If you love getting different nail polish each month and you wear nail polish a lot I think this is worth the money and ofcourse you get to donate to great causes so it is win win.

1849 PC Game Review

The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation.

With all of the peril and possibility of the new frontier, 1849 challenges players to build a thriving mining empire in 19th century California. Inspired by SimCity and other classic simulation games, 1849 is set within 20 real Gold Rush-era cities, each with unique topography and natural resources that influence how they grow.

Transform Northern California from a rugged backwater into an economic powerhouse: build mines, establish farms, attract workers and keep up with their ever-increasing needs, set up trade networks from the High Sierras to San Francisco and beyond. With a campaign mode featuring 20 unique scenarios and an endless sandbox mode, 1849 promises hours of addictive fun in a compact indie package.

MY THOUGHTS

I really simulation games like this so I couldn't wait to try this one out.

I played it for a few hours and I must say this is a really fun game. The graphic isn't the greatest but it is pretty good for a indie game.
I am  a fan of simulation games since I played my very first simulation  game back in 1998 you will most likely enjoy this one. It isn't easy but it isn't very difficult either and it is loads of fun and it is different than other games I have been playing lately . Only thing I didn't like is that it is repetitive .

I give this game 3 out of 5

If you are interesting in purchasing this game , you can do so at http://www.somasim.com/1849. It has links to where you can purchase them.

JOHNSON FAMILY VACATION on BLU-RAY Review

The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation.

Buckle up for the wildest road trip of the year! Cedric the Entertainer leads an all-star cast in this hilarious comedy adventure about a misfit family trying to survive outrageous obstacles (including each other) on a cross-country trek to their annual family reunion. Along the way, they battle a psycho truck driver, pick up a voodoo-loving hitchhiker and “expose” the dangers of hot-tubbing in a strange hotel. Co-starring Vanessa Williams, Bow Wow, Shannon Elizabeth and Steve Harvey, Johnson Family Vacation is packed with laughs and fueled by fun!

MY THOUGHTS
I don't think I had ever heard of this movie up until just a few weeks ago but it sounded funny so I decided to review it.

As you all probably noticed I am super picky when it comes to comedy and there aren't many comedy movies that I like but I am so glad I did because this movie really was funny and entertaining. I laughed a lot from the beginning to end. The acting is great and the storyline was good too.

If you are looking for a good and hilarious movie, I highly recommend this movie.

I give this 5 out of 5

Corner Gas The Movie Announcement

One of my favourite Canadian tv shows is Corner Gas and unfortunately it ended a few years ago which I was very sad to see it end.

You don't know what Corner Gas is?  What?!?!  Have you been living in a cave or something?  Corner Gas is one of the funniest Canadian tv shows of all time and it was created by Brent Butt. The show takes place in  fictional town of Dog RiverSaskatchewan  and focuses on the life  of gas station owner Brent LeRoy, coffee shop proprietor Lacey Burrows and the folks who populate the town.

The main characters are Brent Herbert Leroy, Lacey Burrows, Hank Yarbo,Wanda Dollard, Oscar Leroy, Emma Leroy, Sergeant Davis Quinton and Constable Karen Pelly.

The show had 6 seasons (started in 2004 and ended in 2009)

If you are a fan of the show watch this video

Isn't that the greatest news ever?  I personally think it is and I have been wanting them to either bring the show back or at least make it into a movie so I am very excited about that.  Like I said it made my day and I just had to share the news with all of you.

I don't usually send you all links to Kickstarter campaigns but I am so excited and I know a lot of people are very happy about Corner Gas movie so I decided to share it with all of you.

If you want to donate click on the widget below

I have no association with the people making this movie and not making money for blogging about Corner Gas The Movie. I am just excited about it that I had to share with all of you.

But if Pedro is to beat stuck-up Summer, Napoleon will have to unleash his secret weapon…

MY THOUGHTS

OK personally I don't like this movie at all.

I kept hearing how good and funny it was so I jumped on the chance to review Napoleon Dynamite.  I watched it last weekend and I was dissapointed. I didn't really find it funny and I was actually bored with this movie.

I give this 1 out of 5
