I like a wide variety of music and I am always on the lookout for music that I listened to in the past and also always looking for new music I have never heard of so I was very happy with this selection that Vinyl Me Please picked for the past 2 months.  I love the prints and the posters.  I thought the cocktail recipes are a nice touch because I like drinking cocktails once in a while.

The Walking Dead: Michonne Game Review

The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation.

The Story
The Walking Dead: Michonne explores the period in the comic book timeline where Michonne leaves Rick, their group, and her katana behind, in order to deal with emotional demons that have plagued her since the beginning of the apocalypse.

The first episode, ‘In too Deep’, finds Michonne aboard ‘The Companion’, a sailing ship captained be Pete and his crew, as they look for survivors and supplies along the coast of the Chesapeake Bay. When a desperate radio signal calling for help draws them to the scene of a horrific massacre, Michonne and the crew of the Companion are lead to the floating survivors’ colony of Monroe, which just may be harboring those responsible for the carnage.

MY THOUGHTS

I have played a few other games by TellTaleGames before.  I have so far played MindCraft: Story Mode, Back To The Future: The Game. Sam & Max and The Walking Dead: Season One and I have like each game so I was so excited to play and review The Walking Dead: Michonne.

The Walking Dead: Michonne plays just like all the other TellTaleGames and i did enjoy it episode one but I just wish there was more interactive parts. Hopefully the future episodes will be more interactive.

One big complaint about these games is that you have to wait for each episodes to come out to be able to play the rest of the game.

The Walking Dead: Michonne is avaliable on Xbox One,Xbox 360, Ps4,PS3,  PC, Mac, Android and iOS.

I give The Walking Dead: Michonne episode one a  3 1/2 out of 5.   I will try and do a review of the entire game once all the other episodes are out.

#CSTLearningProject Twitter Party Invitation

*Disclosure: I will receive compensation for sharing this information. *

When I was a child ( about 8 years old) my parent got a computer but it was a Comodor 64. I used it about 5 times and I just didn't understand it because it was complicated with all the codes you have to use so I just gave up on it. Even in school our class had a Apple ( back then we called it Macintosh ) computer. It was complicated and I thought I would never understand computers.

When I was living on my own in late 1990's, my boyfriend at the time bought a computer that had Windows 98. He set it up and hooked it up to the internet and after seeing him play around on it and on the internet it didn't look as complicated so I asked if he could teach me how to use it. I was so surprised that is was easy to use and I was in awe of the internet ( dial-up internet).

I never imagined back then that technology would be like it is now. It has changed so much and it keeps changing so fast .

Each year  CST holds CST Learning Project competition  which funds new activities for children with $250,000 up for grabs. It’s part of their cool Inspired Minds program that also includes Careers 2030—a deep dive into the possible careers our kids will have. (Robot Counsellor? Data Miner? Rewilder?)

Geek Fuel April 2016 Spoiler Number One

Well we got our first Geek Fuel spoiler for April 2016's box and I have to say I am so happy they will be adding a Doctor Who again.

Decorating Ideas For The Beni Ourain Rug

The Beni Ourain are a group of Berber people from the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. They consist of 17 different tribes. Traditionally they are shepherds and goat herders who move their herds about within the mountains. Beni Ourain rugs are made from the wool trimmed from the sheep they raised. The History In the historic area of Morocco, the rug-making tradition is as old as it is anywhere in the world and is due largely to the regional climate. These rugs are hand-woven by the women. The skill is then passed from mother to daughter throughout the generations. The elements of design in each rug are a reflection of their life events such as nature, fertility, birth, and religious beliefs, and tell the story of tribal ancestors. There are some weavers of the rugs who believe that the rugs are barriers against evil spirits in which they will include symbols of luck and tribal ceremony. Their patterns are usually black and brown lines or abstract shapes against a neutral color such as white or cream. Some other designs may include the Ancient Berber alphabet or geometric designs. Many of them do not have borders. There may be fringe, no fringe at all, or fringe on one side only. Uses Then And Now Beni Ourain rugs were used as blankets, bedspreads, saddle blankets, and sometimes to cover the body. The loose construction of the rugs made them easy to conform to the body. There is a thick and soft pile that may be deep or shallow depending on the purpose. Although Beni Ourain rugs were used as blankets, now their main use has been as a floor covering and now these soft and luxurious rugs are a designer favorite in modern design. Their minimal patterns allow for them to easily fit into any decor style. You may find them anywhere including traditional or modern rooms. They're mostly used in more neutral areas, but they certainly don't have to be. Used in the dining, bedroom, or living areas, Beni Ourain rugs can look great and add a nice touch to any room with their neutral color scheme. No need to worry about clashing colors. Beni Ourain Rug Benefits Now that they are all the rage, what are the benefits of these rugs? I can tell you that the price can be a benefit. The authentic Beni Ourain rugs can be quite expensive. Now there are less expensive versions of these rugs at a fraction of the cost that can provide the look you want. Many of the new Beni Ourain rugs now are not made in Morocco but are referred to as “Moroccan style” rugs as they were created as a variation of the original rugs. If you are thinking of getting yourself a Beni Ourain rug, you should know that the original ones are softer with more detailed design. They were never made larger than 7 feet. If you would prefer an authentic one, there are some sources out there, but be prepared for the cost. Another benefit is they are handmade. Knots are tied in a very specific way and these rugs are woven without a pattern to follow, so no two are alike and you will be receiving your very own unique pattern to add to whatever space you like.
