BetterGuard Mobile is a specialist Android privacy and security app. Find out which of your apps:

  • Access your contacts list
  • Know your location
  • Copy your telephone number and device ID
  • Submit your personal data to another location
BetterGuard Mobile uses a scoring system (one bar to four bars) to rate how dangerous an app is to your privacy.

The huge growth in malware and spyware in the Android world means you are more at risk than ever. Take back your privacy with BetterGuard Mobile.

You will visit the Play marketplace and access the app the same way anybody would, including setting up an account. You will not be charged at any time.

I downloaded this on my Android and tried it out right away. I do not have many apps on my phone and I only had 1 app that was bad so I just uninstalled it. It wasn't really a big deal since I barely ever used that app so getting rid of it wasn't a big deal to me.

This app is excellent and I actually recommend it to everyone because I want all of you, my awesome readers to be safe.

The app is free but BetterGuard Mobile is a subscription based service which is $1.99 per month but the 1st month is free.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com">>. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

It seems to Helen that she is the only one who feels that her friend is in trouble. The more she seeks the truth the more secrets Helen reveals. About her friends and about the hidden relationships that bind the town together.

I liked this book. For a debut novel I think this is very good and very well written. It didn't get my hooked but it did keep me reading until the end. Tons going on in this book and it will keep you entertained.  I hope this author comes out with more books. I recommend this.

The Not Exactly Scarlet Pimpernel by C. P. Lesley ebook review

Ninel Pennington, better known as Nina, has one goal in mind: to finish her Ph.D. dissertation on the French Revolution. But the professor she has chosen to supervise her work has too many students already. To win his acceptance, she must excel in a virtual-reality computer game based on her favorite novel, "The Scarlet Pimpernel." When she lands the coveted role of Marguerite, the novel's heroine, Nina is overjoyed. Sure, Marguerite's a beautiful birdbrain, but Nina can ace this assignment in her sleep! Or so she thinks until she realizes that she's committed herself to spend two weeks as the estranged wife of her least-favorite fellow grad student, cast as the Scarlet Pimpernel himself. The game also pits Nina against Marguerite, a coquettish socialite who wants only to get this meddlesome stranger out of her head. As the Pimpernel's adversary closes in, and Nina figures out that only an alliance with Marguerite's husband will ensure her survival, she becomes ever more desperate to fix Marguerite's life. But Marguerite, it turns out, also has a few pointers for Nina. And before Nina fully grasps just how much trouble she's in, the Scarlet Pimpernel proves to be a good deal less estranged than she'd ever thought possible.

I very much liked this book. Very well writen and and it has adventure, romance and humour.I didn't think I would like this book but I always like to give books a chance. I must say it got me hooked from the very beginning and actually made me want to read The Scarlet Pimpernel by Baroness Orczy.

I highly recommend this book even if you haven't read The Scarlet Pimpernel by Baroness Orczy.

Friday, July 20, 2012 Elegant Tassel Detail Zipped Shoulder Bag review

Let me tell you about This online store has a lot of cute clothing, purses, shoes and more.  I signed up to be part of the Oasap Fashion Hunters Program and let me tell you I was very excited when I got picked to do a review for them. Really I was supposed to take a photo of me with the purse but I have no one to take photos of me right now so I have no choice but to just take photos of the purse alone.

Anyways I picked the Elegant Tassel Detail Zipped Shoulder Bag . This purse is $30 in the site

It was a little smelly (a fishy smell) when I got it so I had to let it air out a bit. I used it last weekend when I went grocery shopping and I zipped and unzipped the top zipper and the zipper broke on me. I mean the part you pull on broke when I will zipping it up again .

Sorry for the blurry photo but I took this with my phone.

Not sure if I just have a faulty one or if they are all like that but the little round thing that goes on the zipper is kinda flimsy.I mean even just looking at them they look like they are easy to break.

I am disappointed because I really like this purse. From what I have been reading has great reviews and I am hoping that my purse was just faulty but other than that I really like this purse. It looks just like in the photo on the site and it is big which is what I like in a purse because I like to bring a book everywhere I go plus of course my usual stuff  (i.e. makeup, hair elastics, cell phone, a notebook, pens, my wallet, gum ).

Good thing I got this for free because I think because of this experience I would not ever buy from this place but if I get asked to review an other product I will give them an other try and hopefully the next product I review will be better.

Haunted by Debra Glass ebook review

My hopes of having a normal life died when I did. Especially since my near death experience turned me into a clairvoyant with a disfiguring scar. Not exactly most-popular material.

Now, because of me, my whole family has been forced to move to some small town in Tennessee. My parents think a quiet new school and a new set of friends will heal me of the scars I carry both inside and out.

There’s just one problem. My house is haunted by Jeremiah Ransom, the charming ghost of a Civil War soldier who lived and died in my house. His presence makes me feel perfect. As if there’d never been a wound in the first place.

But I’m afraid that loving him will result in my death all over again.

What a fantastic book!! I started reading this yesterday and I just couldn't put it down. This a fast paced book that you will enjoy as much as I did. Oh and talk about a ending to this book!! I sure hope there is a sequal because I now want to read more. This is one I know I will be reading again in the future. If you like Young Adult paranormal romance novels you might like this one.

Curcumin provides the health benefits of turmeric and turmeric extract, useful as an anti-inflammatory agent and as an antioxidant. Studies have shown that turmeric may help reduce the pain and irritation experienced by patients with irritable bowel syndrome and its anti-inflammatory properties help to naturally relieve pain associated with arthritis by reducing inflammation in the joints.
Willow bark

Willow Bark

Has been used for natural pain relief and inflammation since the time of Ancient Egypt and Greece. The use of willow bark dates back thousands of years when patients chewed on the bark to reduce fever and inflammation. Willow bark continues to be used today for the treatment of pain (particularly low back pain, tension headaches and osteoarthritis), and inflammatory conditions such as bursitis and tendinitis.

Helps relieve muscle pains, arthritis and rheumatism, and is a catalyst for improving the effectiveness of other herbs. Ginger is an effective anti-inflammatory agent used for thousands of years to alleviate arthritis, headaches, rheumatism and sore throat, while also naturally relieving muscle strains and knee pains experienced by athletes. The medicinal part of ginger is the rhizome, an underground stem that most people refer to as the root. Western herbalists classify ginger as a carminative, which settles the intestine and eases pain by removing gas from the digestive tract. This versatile and useful herb also serves as a catalyst for improving the effectiveness of other natural pain relieving herbs found in Noxicare™.

Rosemary Extract

Has served a variety of purposes including topical use for joint or musculoskeletal pain. Ancient Egyptians knew to relieve musculoskeletal pain by rubbing rosemary extract oil into their skin. Boswellia Extract

Boswellia is a genus of trees native to India known for their fragrant resin which has many pharmacological uses, particularly as an anti-inflammatory and pain reliever. Boswellia extracts and oils have been used to treat back pain and has been compared in effectiveness to steroids in treating Crohn’s disease and other intestinal problems—without causing ulcers like aspirin family medications.

I used this after my walk on Saturday. It was a long walk and  got home my left leg was hurting like it usually does. I put some of this natural pain reliever and it helped. Also I get a twitchy nerve or something like that and I have been putting some of this once per day on area and it helps that too. A 100ml bottle of the cream is $19.95 so it is a little expensive but I think it is worth it.

Nick Gill Waves Are Only Water album review

I was asked to review Nick Gill's new album , Waves Are Only Water. I do not usually review music because I am pretty picky when it comes to the music I like.

Anyways, I listened to all 7 songs from this album a few times during the past few days because I find that sometimes you need to listen to songs more than once before.  After listening to this  entire album at least 3 times I will say that I very much enjoyed this very much and for the first time in a long time I actually liked all songs from the album. I might end up buying Nick Gill's other album and I will be telling everyone I know who likes mix of rock, pop, and acoustic music.

The Do-Over by by Andrew Hessel eBook review

Kimberly Ann “Kiki” Kinsler is a twenty-one year-old college student excited to be returning home to Portland, Oregon for summer break and eager to see her family. Instead of the happy homecoming that she anticipates, Kiki’s world is upended by an unimaginable tragedy. Her parents and younger sister are dead, victims of Little Mo Biggs, a tragically accidental monster, himself a victim of profound parental neglect and abuse. Kiki is also attacked and hospitalized but survives. In the hospital, when all appears lost, she is given an opportunity to wipe away the nightmare, to un-do it, and correct the senseless tragedy. A second chance, a wonderful, improbable, and miraculous gift, that doesn’t come easily. To reclaim her future, Kiki must first correct the injustices of Little Mo’s past, which can only be corrected at the root. In doing so, she learns that home is more than a place, it is also a time, and must confront the parallel challenges of life and love, past and present, in a love story with a foot in each world, 2012 and 1981.

I very much enjoyed this book. It is a fun good read although it was a little boring at the beginning but after reading a few chapters it starts getting better and actually fun. This is a book I will be keeping and reading again. I highly recommend this book.
