MY THOUGHTS

I admit that I had never seen an episode of Ballers before I watched the first episode of season 3 just a few days ago.  I do like Dwayne Johnson so I wanted to give this show a try.

Unfortunately, I didn't like this show. The acting was ok but it just wasn't for me. It isn't a show that kept me interested. I know some of you like this show or would like this show but I just didn't like it.

I am giving this 2 out of 5.

Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay #Review

The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation.

Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay finds Amanda Waller’s top secret “Task Force X” – Deadshot, Bronze Tiger, Killer Frost, Captain Boomerang, Harley Quinn and Copperhead – on a mission to retrieve a mystical object so powerful that they’re willing to risk their own lives to steal it. But the Suicide Squad isn’t the only group of villains seeking to possess the object. The race is on for the golden prize … and, to stay alive, second place isn’t an option.

Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay is rated R for strong bloody violence throughout, sexual content, brief graphic nudity, and some drug material.

MY THOUGHTS

I am a big DC movie fan so of course I had to get my hands on this movie.

My husband and I watched the movie and we did enjoy it. I liked the dark humour, it is violent and the story was pretty good. The voice acting was pretty good too.

I do highly recommend this Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay.

I am giving this 4 out of 5.

Fraternal twins Kyle and Peter accidentally discover they’ve been living with a lie all their lives. The kindly man in the photo on their mantle isn’t their father after all, but an invention their mother (Glenn Close) concocted to conceal the truth: that she actually doesn’t know who their real father is. See, it was the seventies, and things were crazy, and…well, you know.

Armed with only a handful of clues, the brothers resolve to find the mystery man in what results in a wild road trip of discovery and revelations—about their mother, themselves and each other.

Father Figures is now available online and in stores near you.

MY THOUGHTS

I know it isn't what I usually watch and review but when I saw the trailer for this movie I thought it looked like an interesting and funny movie so I wanted to get my hands on this movie.

I was Father Figures yesterday and unfortunately, it wasn't really that funny.  The acting was decent but the story was just ok. Also, I found the movie felt way too long.

I am very disappointed in this movie.

I give this 2 1/2 out of 5.
