Holidays Adagio Teas Advent Calendar

The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation.

Are you a tea drinker or know someone who is a tea drinker?  There are some great tea advent calendars out. I have tried a few and like Adagio Teas advent calendar.

In December I look forward to opening up a little door in my calendar and see which tea I will be drinking next.

If you like teas in bags or loose teas there are 2 different calendars you can get. Both hold 24 individual servings of teas. These teas are gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, and vegan-friendly for both loose and teabag versions.

This is a fantastic gift to give to a tea drinker. It is a fantastic way to try new flavours. I do highly recommend Adagio Teas advent calendar

I’m liking it

I do read some manga but I don't usually review them on my blog.

So far I am liking this series. It is entertaining and I find it original.
I will be reading the next book for sure.

It was free on Amazon Canada kindle

I give this one 4 out of 5 stars.

KitchenAid KP26M1XER Professional 600 Series 6-Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer

I had owned a cheap mixer for a while and it did work great for what I was using it for at the time but in the past couple of years, I have been baking more.  I started making homemade pizza dough and bread and found my mixer was really struggling so I decided it was time to get something more heavy-duty.  After lots of research and tons of reviews, I would like a KitchenAid stand mixer.

I had added the KitchenAid Professional 600 Series 6-Quart Bowl-Lift stand mixer to my amazon Wishlist and kept looking on Amazon and in different Canadian stores to see when it was going on sale.  These mixers are quite pricy.

Luckily enough it was on sale at CAD $379.99 (the regular price is usually over $500) so I told my husband it was on sale and that I really want it and he actually bought it for me.

When it arrived I took it out of the box and cleaned it right away.

I tell you this mixer is powerful.  It wasn't struggling at all with pizza dough or even with big batches of chocolate chip cookies it didn't struggle at all.

Key Features

The Power and Durability to Take It All On

6-Qt. Stainless Steel Bowl with Comfortable Handle

 Bowl-Lift Design

 10 Speeds

Match your Style with Over 10 Colours Available

What was in the box:

6 Quarts stainless steel bowl with handle

Coated flat beater

Coated spiral dough hook

Wire whip

Pouring shield

The KitchenAid Pro 6 is quite heavy at 29 lb.  I knew it would be heavy and so I decided to leave it on the counter and just push it in a corner so that it’s out of the way and it would be easy to just pull forward when I need it which is a few times per week.

My Thoughts

First of all, if you do not have much counter space then this KitchenAid mixer is probably not for you, unless you don’t mind lifting this 29 lb mixer.

I have been using my mixer for a couple of months now and I am loving it.  I thought maybe it would be loud but it isn’t so bad.  My husband can be in the living room and he barely even hears it. This one is much quieter than my old ( different brand) mixer.

As I said earlier the KitchenAid Pro 6 is so powerful it can handle more than 4 dozen chocolate chip cookies.

One thing is the first few times I tried to put the bowl on the mixer I had a hard time but I quickly went on Youtube to watch a video on how to put the bowl on and how to remove the bowl.

Am I happy that my husband purchased this one for me?  Oh heck yes. I am so happy with it and I now even have a cover for it. I do highly recommend this if you love to bake.

You can purchase  The KitchenAid Professional 600 Series wherever small appliances are sold.

Raycon - The Everyday Earbuds (Review)

*I purchased this game with my own money. The opinions are my own*

A couple of months ago my husband and I noticed that Raycon had a deal online on their site. I can't remember what the sale was I think it was buy one and get second one half price or something like that.  Anyway, we both needed new earbuds (him to use while he works out and me to use when I'm doing things around the house or while doing chores inside and outside so we decided to order a pair each.   I will review the one I got.

I got the Everyday Earbuds in electric blue.

Product Features

Vivid Voice Technology

Make crystal clear phone calls.

3 Sound Profiles

For a personalized listening experience.

Water and Splash resistance.

32 HR of battery Life

32 Hours of Stand-By battery, 8 hours of continuous use.

Awareness mode

Hear the world around you.

Wireless charging case

Keep your buds power topped up anywhere you go.

So I can't say about the quality of sound in calls because I haven't used these for calls but I can tell you what I think of the sound quality for listening to music or audiobooks.  I find the sound quality to be very good.  I do usually have a hard time hearing in general but listening to my audiobooks and music was great. I didn't even have to turn up the volume fully which is an improvement compared to some earbuds I have used in the past.
Comfort-wise--  I have a hard time with most earbuds. I mean usually, they don't seem to fit right and fall out or hurt my ears but the Raycon Everyday Earbuds are perfect for me.  They do come with a couple of different sizes of gel tips. For me, the smallest ones fit perfectly.
Price wise- They are pricy but they are very good quality.  The Everyday Earbuds are regularly priced at $125.99 CAD but there are often good sales on the Raycon site.

Do I recommend it? Oh heck yes!!  These are perfect for listening to music or audiobooks while doing chores, working out or playing video games.

Happy New Year!!

I know I haven't been posting in here much  last year, but I haven't been getting anything to review and I think I had fallen out of love with the blog/review so much that I was tempted to shut down the blog.  Fortunately, I am currently having the review/blog bug again so I will be getting busy very soon with a few reviews of products I have bought or that were gifted to me in the past year or 2.
