Last year I reviewed my KitchenAid KP26M1XER Professional 600 Series 6-Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer but I still needed to review my KitchenAid Fresh Prep Slicer/Shredder Attachment.
I got the KitchenAid Fresh Prep Slicer/Shredder attachment and have used it quite a bit. I mostly use it to grate cheese since blocks of cheese and grating carrots. I like the attachment because it makes grating and slicing quicker, but if you grate or slice carrots, the white part of the attachment stains is impossible to remove the stain by just washing it. I do have a trick though... If you shred cheese the stain is easy to clean off after. For me, it's not a huge deal since I do shred cheese a lot.
I injured my wrist last year and this slicer/shredder attachment has been so a great investment. It saves me from having sore wrists and it saves me time as well. I do recommend it.
