Green Lantern Blu-ray Combo Pack review

In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, an elite, powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. Warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him the ability to create anything his mind can imagine. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan (Reynolds).

Hal is a gifted and cocky test pilot, but the Green Lanterns have little respect for humans, who have never harnessed the infinite powers of the ring before. But Hal’s humanity is one weapon no member of the Corps has ever had, and if – with willpower, determination and the encouragement of fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart Carol Ferris (Lively) – Hal can quickly master his new powers and find the courage to overcome his fears, he may prove to be not only the key to defeating Parallax... he will save the Earth and all of mankind from certain destruction.

MY REVIEW
We saw this one in theater months ago and just yesterday I received my copy of Blu-ray Combo Pack of this movie I couldn't wait to watch it again and post my review on here.  This copy has the Extended Cut which is what we watched last night.
Even if you aren't really into comic books you will enjoy this movie. I for one do not know much about Green Lantrerns or any other colour lanterns but I loved this movie and I really  hope there is a sequel. I also loved the features.
I do not know I feel about the new digital copy because I can not use my code yet .
I highly recommend this movie.

*I received a free copy of Green Lantern Blu-ray Combo Pack from from WB for my honest review*

    1. I would love to get my hands on that ring prop for the Green Lantern. I remember when The Big Bang Theory focused on the ring from The Lord Of The Rings and then they also had an episode when Sheldon gets his Green Lantern “Lantern” and takes it everywhere he goes. This IS a fun movie though and I thought the plot and character development was really good too. So I saw this movie in the theater but my kids have been begging me to rent it because they didn’t get to come on my date night with my wife. I’m a very strict parent when it comes to what they watch so after seeing it in the theater I was waiting for the right opportunity to show it to them. I suppose I’ll buy it for them for Christmas so this Blu-ray review was handy. I always rent in HD because we have a big TV and DISH always has the best quality HD available. The HD is free for life too for qualifying customers which always impresses me when I think about it.
