December CoffeeCollective Subscription Box review

As I have mentioned before, my husband and I love coffee. We both have a cup or 2 each morning but once in a while we have more throughout the day so when I received my December's CoffeeCollective Subscription Box I was very excited to try out new coffee.

First you sign up and choose if you want a subscription package or a gift package. Subscription package you get 2 1 lbs bags of coffee each month which you can cancel at anytime and the gift package which you can send to a friend or family member  . I chose the gift package since I just wanted to try it out before I made a decision if I wanted to get monthly boxes. These boxes are $49.99 (plus tax) per month That price includes shipping in Ontario but if you live out west or north the prices are a little different because of shipping fees.

CoffeeCollective comes from the people behind WineCollective.ca and is 100% Canadian  and they offer Canadian coffee drinkers a 100% Canadian offering by partnering with independent roasters across the country.

Here is what I got in December's package:

Fratello Ethiopian Yirgacheffe Aricha

Both my husband and I really liked this one. I prefer this one without cream or milk.

Fratello Los Pirineos Natural Bourbon Elite

This one is my favourite of the 2 bags I got from CoffeeCollective.  I really like that there is a hint of vanilla and almond in this one.

So I am very happy with my coffee and I loved reading about the coffee and the roasters.  You don't get to know about the coffee you buy at the grocery store so it is nice to read all the info. I think I might start a subscription later on in the year once I am done drinking most of the coffee I have in my coffee cupboard.

It is a little pricey compared to what I usually pay for coffee but you do get 2 1lbs bags and you get to try out coffee from roasters from all over Canada.

I highly recommend  CoffeeCollective and I think that if you know someone who loves coffee this would make a great gift.
